Who is qualified to apply for a student visa?
- 18 – 35 years old
- Senior High School graduates are welcome to apply
- Old-curriculum high school graduates must have studied at least 2 years in any vocational or college course
- College graduates
- Master’s graduates
Can I choose what course I study in Australia?
As much as possible, the course must be closely related to your educational background and recent work experience to avoid any chance of refusal. Immigration is very strict when evaluating the course a student enrols in.
Why do I need to take IELTS/PTE, and what score should I aim for?
Immigration and schools in Australia strictly require English test results since the Philippines was raised to level 3 for visa requirements. You can take either IELTS or PTE. For IELTS, aim for an overall average of at least 6.0 with no band below 5.5 (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing). For PTE, aim for more than 52.
Do I pay the show money to the agency or the immigration office?
Neither. We only need bank certificates and statements from the applicant’s or sponsor’s account showing the required amount. If a sponsor provides the show money, an affidavit of support must also be attached.
Is the package amount a one-time payment?
The first payment is the acceptance or contract-signing fee of Php 35,000, which is deducted from your remaining balance. After signing, you process all required documents. Once they are complete, you pay the remaining balance before we officially lodge your visa.
Can I apply for a student visa if I am currently in another country?
Yes, we can do cross-country applications, though this may depend on your current visa status in that country.
Can I bring my spouse once I am granted a student visa?
Yes. Our best advice is for your spouse to apply for a subsequent (dependent) visa. Once the principal applicant is granted, the spouse can start preparing the required documents, and once complete we lodge their visa.
What if we are not married — can I still bring my partner to Australia?
Yes, your partner can apply for a subsequent/dependent visa as a de facto partner. We will require documents proving you are a couple, such as shared properties or bank accounts. If you have a child, both parents must acknowledge the birth certificate, especially the father.
