Last updated: 28 October 2026

How we collect personal information

We collect personal information through various means, including online forms, email communications, phone calls, and in-person meetings. Your data may also be collected through third parties when necessary to provide our services.

The way in which we use and disclose personal information

We use your personal information to deliver the services you request, such as studying abroad, visa applications, or attending events. We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.

The steps we take to protect and keep secure the personal information we hold

Phil-Aus Adventure implements stringent security measures to safeguard your personal information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. This includes secure data storage, encrypted communications, and access controls.

Your rights

You have the right to access, update, or correct your personal information at any time. You may also request that we delete or limit the processing of your personal data, subject to legal and contractual obligations.

Making a complaint if you are unhappy about how we have dealt with or are dealing with your personal information

If you are dissatisfied with how we have handled your personal information, you can lodge a formal complaint by contacting our Data Protection Officer. We are committed to resolving all privacy-related concerns promptly and fairly.

Laws we follow

We handle personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and, for our Australian operations, the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can also raise a concern with the National Privacy Commission (Philippines) or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Information collected on this website

Our forms ask only for what we need to answer your request: your name and contact details, plus your study and work background and résumé when you ask for an assessment. Consultations are booked through Google Calendar. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Services that store or process your information

We use trusted providers to run our services: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (secure database for applications), Google (email, booking calendar, maps and staff sign-in) and Base44 (application and tracking portal). Some of them store data outside the Philippines and Australia, including in the United States. We only share what each provider needs to do its job.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information while we provide services to you, and for as long as the law requires us to keep records. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Children and minors

Our services are for adults. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must agree before you send us your information or use our services. If we learn that we hold a minor’s information without that consent, we will delete it.

How to ask us to delete your information

Email us with the subject “Data deletion request” from the email address you gave us, or call us. We will confirm your identity, delete your information (except records the law requires us to keep) and tell you when it is done.

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically, and we encourage you to review it regularly to stay informed about how we protect your personal information.
